Praise and Contemplation; The Music of Heinrich Schütz

To commemorate the 350th anniversary of the death of Heinrich Schütz, rising period-instrument ensemble Endelienta Baroque join forces with tenor David de Winter for a programme of solo vocal and instrumental works by this oft-neglected composer and his contemporaries. Experience music that meditates, music that celebrates, and music that gives thanks, all written against the backdrop of the Thirty Years' War that devastated Europe.
